Keep pressing forward even when it seems like no progress is being made! God honors your commitment!
We all have to press our way through situations in life. Those that were set out to break us and those set out to make us stronger. Often we look around and those who said they were there are no longer standing beside us. We feel as though we can’t take anymore that’s its just too much to bear. We find ourselves full of sadness wondering when the good times are going to come. Galatians 6:9: And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. There are going to be times when we feel like we are walking alone. Deuteronomy 31:6: Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” We have to keep pressing our way despite the feeling of I can’t do this because God will never forsake us nor leave us to fend for ourselves. And when we are too weak to walk he carries us. Those moments in weakness we have to learn to turn to him because he hears our cries when nobody else will listen. God knew who would make the pressing even harder for us and who wouldn’t. I challenge you to Trust God through the pressing , through the tears and through the rough times. He knew what you would have to endure, how long you would have to endure, and who would forsake you and who would stand by your side through it all. God will honor those who press their way through the hard times. We must remember Patience plays an important role in our Pressing. Things come together in Gods timing not ours. HEBREWS 10:36: For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Remember that God will and has been there the whole time and it’s up to us to not give in to what we see around us. You may see someone who looks like they have it all together but you don’t know how much pressing they had to do to get to that point. Things are always what they appear to be on the outside. I leave you with this Seek God to see where he wants to take you and to help you through the pressing and watch him move. Psalms 55:22 Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. There is nothing better than adversity. Every defeat, every heartbreak, every loss, contains its own seed, its own lesson on how to improve your performance the next time. Malcolm X~
We all face challenges at one point or another. We often look at challenges as a negative aspect in life. Challenges symbolizes Growth not only in oneself but in life. Challenges are only negative if we perceive them negatively. One definition for the word Challenge means an objection or query as to the truth of something, often with an implicit demand for proof. We have relationship challenges, life challenges, self challenges and sometimes we endure challenges with God.We come to challenges to prove our strength to endure. It is true that with every challenge lies a blessing in the end. I myself have endured many challenges. Growing up in the system I had to endure many people turning their backs on me, telling me who I wouldnt become because I was unworthy. I knew God had a purpose for me i just didnt understand what that was. It took everything in me to push my way through and go against all the dysfunction I saw around me and smile through all the pain i felt. Because I didnt allow what I went through, what I endured to harden my heart, and keep me from loving everyone and everything in my path it allowed me to really see God's love and grace all around me. Every challenge brings us to a point in preparing us for something greater in life. How we deal with the challenges in our lives determine the direction that we are going. I challenge you to climb that mountain, to Pray it through, To withstand and be unmovable, unwavering. Florence Scott wrote an amazing story on Carrots, Eggs & Coffee. They go through the same adversity, boiling water, yet they react differently which is why you get the different outcomes. Same with life, our Challenges or adversities we face in life depend on our reactions to them. I challenge you to change your perception which allows a different outcome. Romans 5:3-5 More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
